Alvento Ltd (company number 16394298, registered in England and Wales) operates alvento.uk, including its free tools, website audit and enquiry forms, and blog. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have over it.
Who we are
Alvento Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through alvento.uk. You can contact us about any privacy matter at hello@alvento.uk.

Legal basis
We process enquiry and tool-capture data under legitimate interest (responding to a request you initiated) or, where required, your consent. Optional Google Analytics is loaded only after you accept analytics. Your choice is stored locally in your browser. You can change it using Cookie preferences in the footer; declining leaves the site usable.
Local processing and demonstrations
The free tools process document contents in your browser. Optional page analytics are separate from document processing and are not sent your document contents by our code. If you email us or submit an optional capture form, the details you choose to send leave your browser.
Foyer’s interactive conversation sends your entered messages to its demonstration service. Use fictional details. Immunaris is an embedded demonstration hosted separately; opening it contacts that host. Demo and browser-storage behaviour is separate from optional Google Analytics.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of processors to run the site and respond to enquiries:
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) for site-usage analytics
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for sending transactional email (audit results, tool outputs, replies to enquiries)
- Vercel Inc. for hosting alvento.uk
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else for their own marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiry and tool-capture data is kept only as long as needed to respond to your request or deliver what you asked for, and is deleted or anonymised once that's done unless you become a client, in which case normal business record-keeping periods apply. Analytics retention follows the settings in our Google Analytics property. Contact hello@alvento.uk for the current retention period or to request deletion.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data
- Stop processing your data, or restrict how we use it
- Give you a copy of your data in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@alvento.uk. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Cookies
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics may set cookies to measure page use. Before acceptance or after declining, our analytics script is not loaded. Cookie preferences lets you change your choice; withdrawing it clears Google Analytics cookies accessible to this site and reloads the page to stop the loaded script. We also store your consent choice in local storage.
