What is a UDI and why does it matter?
A Unique Device Identifier is used to identify a medical device. This tool extracts fields from supported GS1 and HIBCC identifier formats; it does not verify the device or the accuracy of the source data.
Which UDI formats does the decoder handle?
GS1 and HIBCC formats are supported. Paste a raw identifier to extract structured fields, then check the decoded values against the original before using them elsewhere.
Can I use the decoded output in another system?
Validate the decoded values against the source and the receiving system's current data dictionary before automating ingestion.
Does it decode ICCBBA / ISBT 128 barcodes?
